2024 VIRTUAL SPEED & POWER SUMMIT

The Complete Speed & Power Summit has been run since 2016.  It was 2 days of athlete building and training education put together from the top speed and power development coaches around all run at a top notch facility as a live event.

This year we decided to do something different...it's going to be VIRTUAL!

It allows us to add more elite coaches to present. It's hard for in-the-trenches coaches to take time out their schedules to travel to a specific location to speak at an event. So we are able to get more amazing coaches who are actually putting in the work each day getting their athletes better, to share with you exactly what they are doing!

A virtual event also allows coaches throughout the World to be able to join us and learn from the best of the best!

We wanted to put together a complete FOCUSED event for coaches and trainers that work with speed and power athletes. There are too many events that are all over the place and have maybe one or two sessions on speed. The problem is, they don't dive in and get deep into the topics. The Virtual Speed & Power Summit does just that, goes deep into all aspect of developing faster and more powerful athletes.

Athletes Acceleration grabbed the top coaches in speed and power...the coaches that COACH EVERY DAY (you know what I'm talking about - you see other 'coaches' who speak on tour but haven't coached an actual athlete in years or online 'coaches' who put out fancy videos or crazy exercises but don't coach real athletes).  We are bringing you the top coaches in our industry who talk-the-talk AND walk-the-walk.

You will not find a better line-up of coaches anywhere. You are going to learn from the best speed & power coaches in the world. Even better, you can become a better coach yourself, all for FREE!

That's right, you can join us live and watch each presentation for free!

     Continuing Education Credits (CEUs)

PENDING! Professional CEU's will be provided!
*You must watch each presentation live in order to be eligible to get the CEUs.

Besides learning from the best speed & power coaches in the industry...for free, you will also be able to get professional CEU's (also for free)

PRESENTERS FROM THE VIRTUAL SPEED & POWER SUMMIT

Here's who you will learn from...

Jonas Dodoo

Head Coach and Founder Speedworks Training

Jonas developed as a coach through his passion for speed and power and was lucky enough to be under the tutelage of Master Coach Dan Pfaff for four years. Jonas has worked with many elite performers across a range of sports but with his main successors and main role within Track and Field. Jonas currently has an Elite Group of Sprinters based out of the National Institute at Loughborough and he is also currently Consulting at Premiership and Championship Football and Rugby clubs working with their staff and first team players.

Jonas Tawiah-Dodoo is a British high performance coach based in Loughborough, Leicestershire. Dodoo is internationally known as the coach of the aspiring runner, Reece Prescod, and several other Olympic and Paralympic medalists such as Greg Rutherford, and Olivia Breen. He was one of the eight coaches who underwent UK Athletics’ Elite Coaching Apprenticeship Programme (ECAP) in the lead-up to the London 2012 Olympics. His wife, Julie Hollman Dodoo, was an Olympic heptathlete, and is a Level 3 Performance Coach and works with England Athletics.

Dodoo played many kinds of sports in the school including rugby. He also played rugby in Hartpury College, where he earned his degree and master’s in Coaching Science. For four years, he was under the tutelage of world-renowned master coach, Dan Pfaff, under the UK Athletics’ Elite Coaching Apprenticeship Programme, and did his master’s thesis about him. Dodoo’s wife, Julie Hollman, also went under Pfaff’s mentorship. Because of this, Dodoo founded Speedworks Charity for aspiring athletes, where he has managed to develop several world-class athletes and coaches. One of the Charity’s athletes was Reece Prescod, who won a silver medal for 100m (9.96) at the 2018 European Athletics Championship. But besides being known for coaching elite athletes, he also has a large involvement in team sports in the UK. In an interview with Athletics Weekly, he said that his company, Speedworks, is “a business in team sports and as a charity in athletics.” He is the speed consultant to Eddie Jones in England Rugby and works as a personal speed coach with England's Anthony Watson and Jonathan Joseph.
